Interspersed with eleven beautifully arranged choral selections, this music-and-drama presentation follows a hard-hearted CEO of a prosperous Chicago export company who is still embittered by a childhood tragedy that claimed her parents' lives.

The story introduces a girl from an orphanage in Alaska, run by the CEO's missionary brother, whose faith becomes an unexpected influence. Together, these elements set the stage for a journey that unfolds throughout the cantata, centered around the Lord whose birth we celebrate at Christmas.
