Dear Friends & Family,
We ask for your immediate and continual prayers for Mrs. Carla Gomez, for
Joshua Gomez and for Dr. Keith Gomez.
Today Joshua was rushed to the hospital after Pastor Gomez
found him in an insulin coma. He was revived and is alert at this time. He is a
very weak and sick young man. He
lost about 50-60 pounds during the 40+ days while he was at UC Davis in California; however, he
lost another 40 pounds since he has been home. Please continue to pray for him. Tonight he is in a private room across the
hall from his mother at the hospital.
We ask that you please beg for God’s mercies over our
precious Mrs. Gomez also. She is in very serious danger with the pulmonary
embolisms (blood clots) in both lungs. We are awaiting results of tests that
have been done on her lungs. A biopsy is to be performed this week on an
abdominal cyst also. The doctors have indicated they believe there is cancer in
her body, which is what has caused the clots in her lungs. We will update you
as we know details.
Pastor Gomez, of course, needs prayer at this time also. He
is carrying a very heavy burden with two of his loved ones being in very
serious and life-threatening conditions. Pray for his church family at this
time as well.
The Gomez family loves your cards and notes; however, please
refrain from visiting the hospital or calling them at this time.
