Josh is better. His pneumonia appears to be responding to the antibiotics. He is resting well. However, he is still reliant on the respirator for breathing.

Today, he opened one eye briefly, moved his left foot and then fell asleep again immediately. His bowels have started to work, which is a good sign. At another time, he was also able to scribble out "I hurt" before he fell asleep again immediately.
